Abstract

In an effort to cut down the number of traffic accidents involving children as pedestrians and cyclists a safety village program for children ages 4 to 8 was set out. While no definitive research has been carried out as to the effectiveness of the program it was found that the children attending the course for the second and third times make far fewer mistakes than newcomers.
