Abstract

The public good is the greater law is one of the fundamentals of the judicial system in the U.S. This, when applied to mandatory restraint use legislation should be involved only if the laws of common sense and self preservation have been ignored by an informed motoring public. This infringement of an individual's rights can be justified by statistics that support the ameliorating effect of restraint systems upon the injuries.
