Abstract

The purpose of this book is to present a comprehensive account of sampling theory as it has been developed for use in sample surveys with illustrations to show how the theory is applied in practise. Treated subjects are random sampling, the estimation of sample size, stratified sampling, ratio and regression analysis, cluster sampling, and sampling and double sampling.
