Abstract

This manual explains what graduated driver licensing is and why it is so important for every jurisdiction to take steps towards its implementation. Section titles are as follows: (I) Introduction: The Need for Graduated Driver Licensing; (II) Traditional Driver Licensing vs. Graduated Driver Licensing; (III) How Graduated Driver Licensing Is Effective; (IV) Graduated Driver Licensing: Results from the U.S. and Other Countries; (V) Support for Graduated Driver Licensing; and (VI) States Should Adopt Graduated Driver Licensing.
