Abstract

The purpose of this design guide is to assist the planners, designers, and managers of scenic byways. It shows examples of improvements, outlines the planning process, and describes design principles. Although this book is focused on scenic byways that cross Federal lands, these principles may be applied to any byway throughout America. (Author/publisher)
