Abstract
The integration of the different traffic systems; the public transport in the road network; the decrease of peak hours; the economical use of parking spaces in the town centre; the improvement of the environmental quality of the city; the development of a poly-centric regional structure; new transport technologies; and an integrated traffic planning are some of the means by which the Federal Republic of Germany plans their traffic policy.
