Abstract
A method, which enables the prediction of routes, which children will take when they walk to school is described. The prediction rests on knowledge of three variables, which are school address, home address and aspects of the town structure of districts in question. The reliability of the method was tested by means of an interview among about 300 parents. Furthermore questions were asked to get more detailed information about the way children go to school.
