Abstract

Daylight is of interest, and often of considerable importance, to those working in quite a wide variety of fields of investigation. The architect is concerned with it as a vital element in building design, the physisist's studies of its intensity and spectral composition interest the photo- biologist and the colourist. Also in traffic daylight is an important factor for safety.
