Abstract

The study involves a conceptual framework for automatic policing information systems. In this framework several functional aspects of automatic policing information systems are distinguished. On- site systems can fulfill the function of violation detection, violation registration and providing feedback to the driver. In- car information systems can also provide feedback to the driver, and can take into account factors not detectable by on- site systems.
