Abstract

A three-or four-wheeled lightweight cycle car for urban travel is proposed which is based on the principles of bicycle construction. It is shown that it is often faster to make trips under five miles by bicycle than by automobile or bus, and that the urban cycle-car could serve purpose. Human energy is discussed as a transport substitute, along with reduction of urban burnout, through walking and cycling.
