Abstract

The Ministry of Transport in New Zealand conducts seat belt and child restraint surveys annually. The main purpose of these surveys is to establish a time series and to test whether there has been a change in restraint use form previous years. Part 1 of this report deals with the data collected on adults (defined as people ages 15 years and over). Part 2 deals with children.
