Abstract

The relationship between attitudes toward seat belts and reported seat belt use is examined. It is studied if the additional information about an individual’s perceived likelihood of being involved in an accident or an individual’s perception of the expectations of others reactions to seat belt users increases the correspondence between attitudes and behaviour.
