Abstract

Segmentation research projects are often relatively large and complex, putting them at risk of wasting time and money. This paper suggests some doÆs and don'ts to help guide sound planning and to minimise such risks for segmentation research about sustainable transport. It is based on recent work reviewing local and international literature, and also the practical experience of doing segmentation research (both quantitative and qualitative).
