Abstract

This report provides analytical and design methods for the seismic design of retaining walls, buried structures, slopes, and embankments. The report details the development of the design procedures. Recommended Load and Resistance Factor Design LRFD specifications and design examples illustrating the application of the design methods and specifications are included in an appendix. The material in this report will be of immediate interest to roadway and bridge designers. (Author/publisher)
