Abstract

The principle objective of this paper is to report on the application of a discrete event digital simulation model to selected experimentation with one aspect of fleet utilization in a PRT, namely empty vehicle management. In this context a given empty vehicle management strategy was conceived as a combination of three different factors and the way in which each was to be implemented for a given test.
