Abstract

Selective Traffic Enforcement is a program which seeks to reduce accidents at locations in villages, cities and counties through the use of visible and active police of traffic laws. The major emphasis of the selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) is a visible effort by the police which depends equally upon public information, the presence of police officers and prompt adjudicated cases involving traffic offences.
