Abstract

The paper addresses design problems of vibration and attitude control of a passenger car on the basis of a full-vehicle model. Special attention has been paid to the interaction among the four suspension systems and the effectivity of incorporating a co-ordinated control strategy. Also the relation between vertical (in-plane) and lateral (out-of-plane) dynamics with respect to suspension control has been examined. (A)
