Abstract

A discussion on the pre-operational promotion of a new service, overestimation of potential of the market, specific experiences and consumer perception and behavior is presented. The difficulties of collecting information on the public, the uniqueness of marketing public transportation, as well as new trends in urban land use patterns, are discussed.
