Abstract

A computer simulation model has been developed that simulates a demand-scheduled bus system offering door-to-door service. Sensitivity analyses were performed on various parameters in the model. The parameters studied were link travel time, maximum pickup time, shape of serviced area, frequency of calls, bus capacity, and length of trips.
