Abstract

To assess the effects of peak hour Urban Clearways in Sheffield four of the 11 Clearways were surveyed, representing 40 per cent of the total mileage of Clearways in the city. The results indicate on increase in road capacity for each route during the peak periods and a general reduction in traffic delay throughout the "working day"
