Abstract

The case study examines the cost structure of rail transport of wood in log form in the municipality of Circular Head in the North West of Tasmania. The purpose was to determine if a rail transport strategy could be competitive in cost to conventional road transport. This Technical Note summarises the results of the study. (a).
