Abstract

This article deals with reliability of truck traffic estimates derived from 12-hour or shorter traffic counts. 15 study sites located on the highway network of Saskatchewan, Canada, were investigated. Results indicate that the reliability of truck volume estimates is highly sensitive to the length of counts. (Author/publisher)
