Side field of view target areas.

Abstract

Two subtragets are used to define the side field of view. One of these is based upon the drivers ability to see vehicles out of the corner of his eye when using a mirror; the other refers to what he sees when looking through the mirror. The exact size, shape and location of the two subtargets are defined.
