Abstract

With data gathered in the Amsterdam conurbation a disaggregate transportation model has been developed by the national government, called SIGMO. SIGMO stands for "conurbation individually estimated model". In the paper the theoretical background and the assumptions are described, after which estimation and validation results are presented and also possibilities for application.
