Abstract

This pamphlet sized sheet describes a new system that makes child safety seat installation easier, without using seat belts. The system is called LATCH - Low Anchors and Tethers for Children. LATCH is required on most child safety seats and vehicles manufactured after September 1, 2002. It is not required on booster seats, car beds and vests.
