Abstract

This report contains the findings of research performed to develop practical equations for design of shear reinforcement in reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge girders. Recommended specifications, commentary, and examples illustrating application of the specifications were also developed. The material in this report will be of immediate interest to bridge designers.
