Abstract

The now used dummies do not account for the fractures of the lower extremities, which can occur during a pedestrian- vehicle collision. A simulation model of the bones of the lower extremities is made, which gave an answer to the probability of the fracture as a result of the collision. The biomechanical basis, the realisation of the model and the first results are discussed.
