Abstract

Procedures for investigating the effect of aerodynamic disturbances on a dynamic system consisting of driver and vehicle in highway operation are developed and illustrated. The disturbing forces and moments are determined from scale model experiments in a wind tunnel. Corresponding full scale field investigations service to confirm the simulation results.
