Abstract

In an attempt to review simulation of the human body for trauma research a semi-quantitative comparative analytic technique is employed. The analysis evaluated the major simulators versus the data requirements, in terms of common criteria. It is not surprising the man is his own best model, while embalmed and freshly dead are not desirable as volunteers and accident victims.
