Abstract

This paper reviews the rehabilitation of three roads in the City of Canning and discusses the aspects of the selection of the in situ foamed bitumen stabilisation as the rehabilitation method and testing performed on the pavement sections. The design parameters and fatigue deterioration model used to predict the performance of the pavement are reviewed. The cost savings and reduction in construction time are highlighted with the other alternatives considered. (a)
