Abstract

In the past many investigations have been carried out on the statics and dynamic reactions of the human pupil of illumination of the eye using white light. In this respect it seems surprising that little attention should have been directed to the dependence on the wave-length of the incident light. The functional significance of the outcome of our experiments is still uncertain. It may turn out to be related to other adaptive processes in the human eye.
