Abstract

This article deals with skid marks, the distance covered during breaking, and the speed of the vehicle concerned, and the relationship between one and the other in the light of modern scientific research. An investigation of the typical tire marks caused by basking and their comparison with those in an accident enables a correct evaluation of the accident.
