Abstract

The available data on skidding resistance of concrete relating accelerated measurements with performance under actual road conditions are examined. Although the data exhibit considerable variation it has been possible to establish relationships which can be used to make predictions of road performance in terms of sidewayforce coëfficients from the results of accelerated wear tests carried out in the Laboratory.
