Abstract

The significance of sleep stages is still, one of the unanswered questions of sleep research. In the current research program the subject is deprived of either slow-wave or REM sleep for three nights and then deprived of total sleep for one night. These data are discussed as well as computer data indicating the electrophysiological parameters of REM and Non REM sleep.
