Abstract

The objective of this paper is to introduce a procedure for presenting an accident reconstruction in a clear and effective manner. The technique that is discussed herein consists of constructing three- dimensional models of an accident scenario for later filming with still and video cameras. The reconstruction is then presented by means of 35 mm or medium format slides and real time video animation, several reconstructions which illustrate the methodology and have been used in litigation are presented.
