Abstract

Aggressive driving is on the rise according to the American Auto Association Foundation for Traffic Safety Study, which found that incidents of aggressive driving have increased by seven percent every year since 1990. Law enforcement agencies regularly develop new strategies to decrease the occurrence and recidivism of aggressive driving. Private businesses and entrepreneurs offer creative, yet unproven solutions. Most strategies advocate re-education, public awareness, and increasing aggressive driver identification by police officers. (Author/publisher)
