Abstract

The social influence play a major role in determining human behaviour. The present paper is an attempt to a categorization of the various methodological approaches used in studying social factors in driving. The final part presents a conceptual framework for the study of driving that is intended to incorporate both the physical and psychological determinants of driving behaviour.
