Abstract

Lyons and Marseille have built a new underground railway since 1978. Since the costs of building and operating such systems are very heavy for the authorities a follow-up program, comprising household interviews as well as traffic data-gathering at station was carried out with the aim to evaluate the impacts and costs for further decisions on building new lines.
