Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1849 is a six-part volume that examines issues related to transportation earthworks; fiber-reinforced polymer piles, deep foundations, and advances in load and resistance factor design; thermoplastic pipe design and performance; spatial variability in pavement engineering; recent advances in geotechnical engineering; and geosynthetic reinforcement in roads. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2003.
