Abstract

The papers of this record cover many aspects of stabilization, ranging from the mechanisms of sand with cationic bitumen emulsion. Methods of improving the tensile strength of soil-cement and the factors affecting the creep behaviour of cement-stabilized soils are discussed. Furthermore, a method for predicting freeze-thaw durability of stabilized materials is presented.
