Abstract

Aspects of the pre-crash factor of Roadworthiness and the post-crash factor of Alcohol and their relationships to road accidents are given. The aspects are: (a) the scale of sub-standard motor vehicle tyres; (b) the fitting of tyres of incorrect size to motor vehicles; (c) the use of incorrectly calibrated speedometers on motor vehicles, and (d) the adjournment of proceedings against drivers charged with exceeding .05% B.A.C.
