Abstract

The author tries to make a comparison between two subjects traffic death and suicide, which are in no way connected. His last conclusion concerning prevention is: It is important to try to prevent suicide and traffic death because of the total magnitude of these problems, not necessary because of any rate. Since there is little connection between traffic offenses and traffic death, some other clue to future disaster should sought. One possibility would be a continuous record of each individuals minor accidents.
