Abstract

The purpose of this research was the identification and measurement of driver, environmental and machine factors associated with motorcycle collision injury. The research was based, upon a retrospective study of persons injured in Sacramento County, California during 1970, after which it is concluded that police accident reports appear to be a grossly in-accurate method of determining the frequency of motorcycle collision injuries.
