Some methodologies applied to symbol evaluation in Canada.

Abstract

A study of permissive turn movement signs in Manitoba is given. The study indicated less recognition when turn restrictions were applicable all day. It is suggested not to concentrate only on the symbol within the sign taken together is in fact the real symbol. A discussion is added.
