Abstract

The author describes some typical and representative results of the measurements and the system for the determination of the actual noise conditions in buildings due to traffic noise. From the viewpoint of building acoustics the traffic noise problem is one of studying how the outer walls as well as the roof of the building can be utilised as a sound barrier by application of glass.
