Abstract

A team is engaged in the development of attention systems for highway gores. A method for initially screening available energy absorbing devices is presented. The evaluation of the remaining devices by means of testing and analysis is discussed. The procedures for inexpensive and flexible testing of attention systems using scale modeling techniques are developed.
