Abstract
With the increasing demands on the automobile operator from high speed, high density traffic, it becomes imperative to develop aids to compensate for the natural physical and sensory limitations of the driver and to capitalize on the driver's unique human capabilities. Control and display aiding can be developed and evaluated against driving norms.
