Abstract

The relationship between speed and road accidents has been evaluated by means of a meta-analysis of 98 studies that contain 460 estimates of effect. The study gives strong support to the Power Model of the relationship between speed and road accidents, or accident victims. Changes in speed are very important for road safety. (Author/publisher)
