Abstract

The future total traffic- and transportation process will reach a much higher level of automatic steering and control either regarding individual or public transportation systems or also intermediary forms as ambi-systems. Speed-signals, sometimes used as working parts of coordinated traffic signal systems, are an information transmission system, which value and use has been very little given a clear exposition by earlier research. The project here described makes clear and gives an answer to the question if the speed-signals could be regarded as adequate information-transmitters between a technical system and man driving in that system.
