Abstract

Until the seventies the layout of residential areas gave no real problem. If the allocation was fixed, the roads were planned, if possible, the car for the house door, and the rest of the space became the green area. After the seventies another insight became clear that public space is not clone the road and not-built rest area, but that it has to be a functional area which should be used optimally. Part A of the report discusses the traffic situation for the children as pedestrians in their way to school. Part B mentions the possibilities to play within the area described.
